How a Dehumidifier Works

1. Air is drawn into the  unit by a fan
2. Air passes over a cold surface
3. As the air is cooled, it’s moisture condenses
4. Water falls into the container
5. Air is re-heated by the heat recovery system
6. Air passes back into room 2°C warmer and considerably dryer
7. Defrost system automatically  de-ices unit as necessary
8. Unit switches off automatically when container is full
9. When the unit achieves the selected level of dryness it switches off automatically

The Application

Huge costs are incurred every year through inflated building maintenance costs and damaged inventory as a result of dampness. EIPL dehumidifiers are effective solutions to environmental control problems. Excess humidity in your premises results in corrosion, mold growth and condensation. By installing an EIPL dehumidifier controlled humidity conditions can be maintained to provide protection in larger commercial areas and buildings.

Why Choose EIPL?

EIPL is Europe’s leading manufacturer of dehumidifiers and is a name that you can rely on. No matter how extreme the conditions EIPL’s efficiency copes comfortably even at the coldest temperatures. All units incorporate a humidistat which enables you to choose the level of dryness to  minimize running costs and ensure that there is no over-drying.

The Problem

EIPL are a recognized worldwide supplier of flood restoration drying equipment. We offer a variety of dehumidifiers and air movers to remove water and assist with drying areas after water damage. Following a flood, whether it is in your basement or office, it’s vitally important to restore the damaged area to good order as soon as possible to protect your health from microorganisms, mold and bacteria that may grow and ultimately prevent further damage. Whether it is a flash flood, hurricane, heavy rains or water main break, EIPL have the equipment to handle the harshest environments and assist with proper restoration.

The Dehumidifier

EIPL dehumidifiers are effective solutions to environmental control. Designed to control humidity in larger areas the CD425 is a freestanding unit, which has the capacity to extract up to 150 liters of moisture in 24 hours.

The CD425 is the largest member of the EIPL family of industrial dehumidifiers and is designed to combat the demands of industry for the environmental control of very large areas. With the capacity to work at a broad range of temperatures the CD425 can extract up to 150 liters of moisture in 24 hours. With the CD425 controlling the humidity in the likes of sports halls, warehouses and factories condensation problems are eliminated without the fears of over drying or wasteful and unnecessary energy costs.

The CD425 is an industrial machine for applications which require long term durability. Built for longevity the welded steel chassis is coated in baked epoxy for abrasion resistance whilst the exterior is protected by vinyl covered panels. Installation is quick and  easy with the help of a purpose build robust stand.

The CD425 is available in 2 versions, manual and electronic humidity control. The electronic version has a digital readout of the actual humidity level, and also allows a specific humidity control value to be entered.

The integral crankcase heater, ensures the CD425 is suitable for the wide operating conditions.

Conditioned air, is discharged vertically to improve the mixing within the building, thereby resulting in a conditioned space quicker.
